Frequently asked questions
Are start and end dates inclusive?
The day count is the number of nights between the two dates — Feb 1 to Feb 5 is 4 days. To count the start day too (e.g. for hotel stays counted in days, not nights), add 1 to the result.
How are months and years calculated?
Calendar months and calendar years — Feb 15 to Mar 15 is 1 month even though that's 28-31 days. The total-days figure is always exact regardless of how the month or year breakdown is presented.
